This Chicago-born musician of Indian ethnicity has an amazing jazz vocal. I first stumbled across his album “Hi-Fly” a couple of years back while browsing some stuff online. The album is produced by Grammy-award winning musician John Clayton and though it was released about two years ago, it still sounds fresh. Perhaps that’s the quality of jazz music.
