Google Pays Tribute to Yasmin Ahmad

Good to see Google paying tribute to the late great Yasmin Ahmad. The doodle features a water-coloured picture of Yasmin, along with the Google logo stylised in the ‘Sepet’ movie poster typeface. Google Doodles are the fun, surprising, and sometimes spontaneous changes that are made to the Google logo to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous  artists, pioneers, and scientists.

TIME’s Person of the Year 2013: Pope Francis

I think it’s somewhat befitting that the Pope gets TIME’s honour for the Person of the year.
