Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Here is a short video of Saivhes. I remember singing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” to him when he was about a month old during his nap or bed time. Didn’t sing this song for sometime and when I did a few days ago, was rather surprised that he made all this noises as if he was trying to sing! If you observe the video, you will notice that he stops singing when (…) Read more

Saivhes doing his Caterpillar Crawl

Many people think that this would be impossible. Even we thought so. Saivhes started doing his caterpillar crawl at the age of 2 months. First recorded this at night (see videos Section). More recently, we were able to record it in the afternoon. He frequently does this so leaving him on his tummy unattended is no longer possible as he will most likely push himself out of the playing area! (…) Read more

The Vegetarian Rattle?

You read that right! Zeenee actually found this rattler which is mainly made using Corn Starch! It’s a brand called “Vegetable Baby” from South Korea. It’s Dioxin and BPA free. We’ve tried many rattles and Saivhes seems to really love this one. The texture is quite smooth and he is able to grip it well and chew on it. You can purchase it Babyland SS2 for RM28.90

Saivhes is now 3 months!

He was a little cranky after the jabs but is doing well now. While waiting in the car for Zeenee as she did some banking, I managed to finally record a video of him making all his baby sounds. The Back of the Napkin: The Power of Pictures!

One of the most interesting books I’ve picked up this year. It came out a few years ago though. Dan Roam’s “The Back of the Napkin: Solving Problems and Selling Ideas with Pictures” is a book which you have to read. Although its aimed at the business world, a lot of it can actually be applied when teaching children or even using it on a day to day basis. The (…) Read more
